Priority Prayer Lord, as we busy ourselves with our business endeavors, we ask you to help us keep our eyes on you. Our desire is to honor you with all our efforts. Help us to do whatever we set our hands to in a way that is pleasing to you. We know we need to keep our priorities in proper order, and we know you are always our highest priority. We do not want to become distracted by worldly things and desires. Help us to trust you and to always seek your will in our lives. We pray in the most beautiful name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen. Endurance Scripture... A Chicken or an Eagle?
There was a mother eagle who dropped one of her eggs as she was rearranging her nest. The egg rolled into the nest of a nearby chicken, who became very proud of herself for having laid such a large egg. (Chickens aren't too bright!). Eventually, this great big 'chicken egg' hatched a great big .... chicken? Or so everyone assumed. That baby did everything he could to try to fit in with the other chickens. He knew deep inside though, that he just couldn't fit in with them. Something about him was very different. Still, he pecked at the gravel and seed that was provided and strutted around, as best as he could with the hopes of one day becoming just like the other chickens. One day, a large shadow fell upon him and when he looked up to see the source, he saw a majestic eagle flying above him. The other 'chickens' never looked up; never even noticed the big bird soaring above them. Being a playful fellow, he began to flap his wings, pretending that he too could fly like that big majestic bird. Much to his surprise, and to the surprise of the chickens around him, the flapping soon lifted him far above the chickens, the coop, even the farmhouse and trees. As he looked below him, and then all around, he realized that he was actually an eagle!! A beautiful, majestic, wonderfully made eagle! How many of us go through life believing that we're nothing more than 'chickens'? How many of us have been fooled into believing we're meant to be less than we were truly created to be? We are SONS AND DAUGHTERS of GOD!! Not chickens. Children of the King!! Let's spread our wings and fly. We can do ALL things with Christ Jesus in us. Let's live the victorious lives we were created to live...In Jesus. Timeless Advice... The best advice I can give anyone for having a successful internet business...is to PRAY! Ask the Lord to guide you. Promise to work hard and at the same time, be willing to do things His way! I pray you will hear Him when He whispers to you and know how you can best honor Him with your efforts. Dedicate your business to Him as you have dedicated your life. Do all things as unto the Lord.
