When
people come to the Homeless
Church for church and a hot meal, I try
to give each new person a necklace. In order to
survive, people living on the streets will sell or trade just
about anything they can get. I've been AMAZED to see
people still wearing their cross months after I've
given it to them. This shows me that it is very special to them. They received the Love of
Jesus when they accepted the gift of the cross and they're seeing this impact their lives. Yes, they're still on
the streets, for now; but they keep coming back to church and getting closer and closer to Jesus.
This is our Street-Friend
